Support for parents of people with autism is a basic right
Vzw Victor provides support in various forms to people with autism and their families in the province of West Flanders. It is directed at the person and their support network.
The name “Victor” comes from the Latin: someone who learns to live with autism can be seen as a victor. Their staff can guide people with autism and their support network towards victory. They want to accentuate the possibility of giving autism a place in the world, separate from the word autism.
BOSS paints is a majorly important partner for us in every way. Our partnership came about totally naturally through fieldwork, our core activity. We could see immediately that BOSS paints is a company with its heart in the right place.
What does BOSS paints mean to vzw Victor?
And VZW Victor is truly grateful they have placed their confidence in us. They believe in us and are genuinely engaged. And that makes us stronger. Every day we meet a host of needs we would never be able to meet without financial support from BOSS paints. This partnership means we can give support to host families working in autism: these are the families who regularly volunteer to host a child or adolescent with autism staying overnight for one or more days. We do this in conjunction with Pleegzorg West-Vlaanderen. I am very proud of our partnership!”
