Professional quality paints from Belgium. BOSS paints' products are the result of research and development on the one hand and modern production equipment on the other. The lab and complete production are both located in Waregem.

In product management, new concepts are thoroughly assessed for their marketability, and our dedicated lab-based R&D department handles the technical development of each product.
Innovation
Every new product undergoes rigorous testing in our specialised application laboratory before it even reaches the testing phase at our customers' premises. This guarantees the high quality we're famous for, despite increasingly stringent market requirements.
Our most innovative developments arise in response to market issues. We are in direct contact with the customer, which allows us to respond quickly to new requirements and come up with effective solutions in timely fashion. For every product development, regardless of what drives it, the customer is always at the centre.
Sustainability in the lab
In recent decades, we have invested heavily in sustainability, both in terms of health and environmental impact.
Regulations concerning chemicals are becoming increasingly stringent.
Despite these challenges, we continue to innovate and improve our products. The Green Deal will also significantly change the paint landscape, prompting us to conduct intensive research in new fields, such as microbiology, to meet future requirements.
Knowledge building
Continuously adding to our knowledge base is crucial to our success in research and development. We closely track the latest technologies and deploy them wherever possible. We achieve this by having a sharp internal focus on knowledge building and sharing, and by collaborating with the scientific community. Our partnerships with raw material suppliers and research centres are an important source of knowledge in this respect.
Looking to the future
The results of our efforts are clear to see. In recent years, we have developed several successful new and improved products, with a continued focus on:
Long lifespan: We aim for products with good durability, to reduce the need for repainting. Factors such as wear resistance, colour fastness and scrub resistance play a crucial role here. Our transparent communication and explanatory advice help our customers make the right choice.
Containment of hazardous raw materials: We handle hazardous raw materials such as solvents and biocides with extreme care. We anticipate increasingly stringent legislation and switch to the most people- and environmentally-friendly paint formulas as early as possible.
Alternative raw materials: BOSS paints is taking steps towards more environmentally-friendly and alternative raw materials, including lime, clay and bio-based binders. These provide high-quality products with minimal use of petrochemical binders and titanium. We will continue to explore this path going forward.
Recognised labels: Our products meet the strictest environmental and health standards, as affirmed by recognised labels such as the European Ecolabel and the Indoor Air Quality A+ label. This confirms our commitment to a sustainable future, and we continue to intensify our focus on this.goal.
