Antoon en Blanche
The history of BOSS paints goes back more than 80 years, when Antoon Bossuyt and Blanche Debaere set up a family business. Today the business is still owned by their descendants, some 40 members of the family.
Relatives
Some members of the family also work at BOSS paints, including CEO Toon Bossuyt. Sara Bossuyt is the first member of the fourth generation to work in the business, joining in spring 2024. This continues the tradition of family involvement.
Long-term vision
Throughout our long history, the family has always strived for open and transparent involvement, and ethical shareholding. The family attaches great importance to good governance and has powerful structures in place, including a Family Charter, Governing Documents and a Supervisory Board to ensure that the company's interests always come first and that personal family interests do not influence the management of the company.
For the Bossuyt family, it is more important that customers are satisfied and employees are happy, than maximising returns.
